Instructions:

  1. Choose a schedule state for each Kanban state. When a story or defect is moved from one Kanban state to the next, it triggers a change in the schedule state based on this mapping.
  2. Enter a number for the work in progress limit field to affect the total number of Stories and Defects allowed in a specific Kanban state.
  3. Check the 'Hard Limits' checkbox to enforce the work in progress limit for each Kanban state.
  4. Check the 'Preassign Releases' checkbox to create a Kanban containing Stories and Defects already assigned to a specific release. If this box is not checked, only Unscheduled Stories and Defects will be shown in the Kanban. To read more about preassigning releases as a Kanban usage scenario, visit the Kanban help page here
  5. Click on Create Mashup, the HTML you need to create your mashup will appear in the textbox below. Copy this HTML to your clipboard and use it to create a custom mashup.
